Detailed Explanation of Standardized Cultivation Techniques for Hutai No. 8 Grape
Standardized Cultivation Techniques for Hutai No. 8 Grape. Hutai No. 8 is a dual-purpose table and processing variety originating from Europe and America. It is suitable for planting in areas with an annual effective accumulated temperature of 3,800 °C and a frost-free period of more than 180 days, and is resistant to downy mildew, gray mold, and anthracnose. Tolerant to high...

What are the key management techniques during the grape berry development period?
How should grapes be managed during the berry development period? Shoot pinching and foliar fertilizer application for the canes and vines, to maintain a good tree appearance. One month after flowering, the new shoots basically stop growing; those that have not stopped are pinched to control them, so as to concentrate nutrients for berry development. The fully expanded functional leaves near the trunk and canes...

How to prevent and control grape gray mold? Detailed explanation of its occurrence pattern and green control techniques
Occurrence pattern of grape gray mold and green control techniques. Grape gray mold, commonly known as "rotten flower cluster," is one of the most common and seriously damaging diseases in grape production, mainly caused by Botrytis cinerea. In recent years, whether under protected cultivation or open-field cultivation...

Key Technical Points for the "Three Sheds and One Film" Cultivation of Greenhouse Grapes in Turpan
Key Technical Points for the "Three Sheds and One Film" Protected Grape Cultivation Technique in Turpan City. Turpan's climate is characterized by rapid temperature rise in spring, an early and relatively long summer, and a relatively slow temperature drop in autumn. Accordingly, protected grape production is mainly focused on early-forcing cultivation. The author...

Key Techniques for Delaying Leaf Senescence in Protected Delayed Cultivation of Red Globe Grape
Key Techniques for Delaying Leaf Senescence in Protected Delayed Cultivation of "Red Globe" Grape. Delayed cultivation of "Red Globe" grape is a new form of protected grape cultivation with Chinese characteristics. It is exactly the opposite of forcing cultivation. Its purpose is to cover for cold protection in the late growth stage, delay and extend the grape fruit growth period as much as possible, delay the ripening and harvesting period of grapes, and thereby harvest fresh grapes in the depths of winter for market supply. By replacing fresh-keeping storage with delayed harvesting, it forms good economic and social benefits. Zhangye City has a typical continental temperate arid climate, with drought and little rain and abundant "cold resources," making it one of the best regions in China for using greenhouses and other protected facilities to produce delayed Red Globe grape. Since 2007, Zhangye City has introduced Professor Chang Yongyi's research result "Research on Delayed Cultivation Techniques for American Firm-Fleshed Late-Ripening Grapes in Short Accumulated Temperature Regions," fully leveraged the advantages of natural resources, used protected conditions to cultivate "Red Globe" grapes for market listing in deep winter, and continuously summarized and integrated delayed cultivation techniques. Through several years of development, the protected grape industry has become a sunrise industry and a people-benefiting industry for increasing farmers' income and prosperity in the region. From 2009 to 2016, we summarized the core techniques of how to delay ripening, delay leaf fall, and postpone market listing in protected delayed cultivation techniques for "Red Globe" grape, in order to better guide practice and provide technical reference for the healthy development of this industry in the region.
