How to do a good job of rice transplanting? Rice transplanting management techniques during the transplanting period

In southern China, rice cultivation requires sowing the seedlings first and then carrying out rice transplanting, so people must prepare for rice transplanting in advance and learn cultivation techniques that let the planted rice cost less and avoid disease. The detailed cultivation methods are below.

At present, the leaf age of most rice seedlings has entered the 2.5-leaf stage, and some rice farmers have begun trial transplanting one after another. In another ten-plus days, the transplanting period will arrive. At this time, rice farmers should make preparations before transplanting (the leaf age in this period is 3.1-3.5 leaves, requiring 3-4 days). The following aspects must be noted in seedling management:

One: Do a good job of grouped management for seedlings of different leaf ages and different growth conditions, ensuring standard control for small seedlings and strict control for large seedlings. Greenhouses with earlier sowing dates and older seedlings should increase ventilation, while younger seedlings from overly late sowing dates should be protected against early heading and bacterial wilt (bacterial wilt). Each greenhouse area must be assigned dedicated personnel for management to ensure timely ventilation and seedling hardening, strict temperature and humidity control, ensuring seedlings do not grow leggy, and no overage seedlings are transplanted at transplanting time.

Two: Do a good job of draining water for root-strengthening seedling hardening. When seedlings enter the 3.1-3.5 leaf stage, draining water for seedling hardening should be carried out. Without letting the seedlings wilt, keep them in a state of hardship, so as to help them root well after transplanting, turn green quickly, and head early.

Three: 3-4 days before transplanting, drain water for root-strengthening seedling hardening, and before transplanting do a good job of the "three carries" (based on the daily transplanting area, implement the seedling "three carries" in batches.)

The "three carries" at the seedling stage means that before the large seedlings are transplanted, the seedlings are given "fertilizer carry", "pesticide carry", and "microbe carry". With very little investment, a very good effect of increasing plumpness and preventing insects can be achieved.

Fertilizer carry: One day before transplanting, apply 120-150 grams of diammonium per square meter of seedlings, water a little after application, and on the next day, for as many trays of seedlings as can be transplanted, apply diammonium to that many trays of seedlings the day before. Seedling trays treated with diammonium must be lifted in the morning of the next day; do not roll the seedlings on the night before, to avoid burning the seedlings. Carrying diammonium at the seedling stage can increase the utilization rate of diammonium, improve the disease resistance of rice seedlings, promote rooting, and promote early heading.

Pesticide carry: Prevent leafminer and rice leaf beetle; especially leggy, diseased, and weak seedlings are very prone to pests and diseases after transplanting! That is, 2-3 days before transplanting, use 18 grams of "pymetrozine" or imidacloprid per 360 sq m greenhouse, add water to 30 jin and spray, which can prevent the occurrence of rice leafminer to a certain extent. Saves time, saves money, and is practical!

Microbe carry: Prevent low-temperature freezing damage and promote green-up. Rapidly repair the roots and stems damaged by transplanting injury, increase the number of root hairs, shorten the green-up period, and advance entry into heading. It can also resist low-temperature freezing damage during the spring transplanting period, improve the seedlings' own stress resistance, balance growth, and rebuild and activate the seedlings' own immune system. While applying diammonium, a certain amount of high-quality microbial agent can also be applied. Rice seedlings carrying beneficial microbes can, after transplanting, accelerate the green-up speed, promote heading, and increase the utilization rate of organic fertilizer.

When transplanting rice, we must do a good job of cultivation techniques in advance, which helps the transplanted rice seedlings grow, prevents pests and diseases, and avoids spending money foolishly.
