Key Points of Mushroom Induction Management Techniques for Morel Cultivation
Morel is a type of edible mushroom that is very expensive on the market today, with extremely high nutritional value and medicinal value. At present, the scale of artificial morel cultivation has expanded, and the yield has improved to a certain extent, but it still has not been able to meet consumer demand. So if you want to increase the yield of morels, its mushroom induction management is a very important step. Below, let us learn together about the mushroom induction management techniques for morel cultivation.

1. Temperature
At normal temperatures, morels generally produce mushrooms in about one month, which is to say that morels are very sensitive to temperature. The optimal temperature for the growth of morel fruiting bodies is around 12 to 18 degrees. When the temperature is too high or too low, it will affect the growth and development of morel fruiting bodies, thereby affecting the mushroom induction rate of morels. In addition, the temperature difference between day and night should not be too large; generally it is best to have a difference of about 10 degrees. If the temperature difference is greater than 15 degrees, under such conditions, the mushroom induction of morels is also very poor.
2. Light
The growth of morels requires sufficient light. Only sufficient light can ensure the quality of morels. Of course, morels can be kept under lightless conditions during the mycelium growth stage, but if you want the growth of morel fruiting bodies, then light is necessary. However, we also need to regulate light and cannot keep direct light all the time, otherwise it will also affect normal mushroom induction. In the morning, we generally maintain direct light, but after 1 p.m., we can only rely on scattered light for illumination, and by around 4 p.m., shading is needed.
3. Humidity
In order to promote mushroom induction in morels, during this period we will water frequently, but the amount of water each time should not be too much; it is best to use a spray-type watering method. Of course, if the purpose is to stimulate mushroom induction, then we need to water appropriately more, using the soaking method for watering. Raise the humidity in the mushroom induction room to around 60 percent to 85 percent, and strengthen humidity retention, so that the mushroom induction speed of morels can be accelerated.
4. Ventilation
During the mushroom induction period of morels, we also need to strengthen ventilation management and maintain air circulation in the mushroom induction room. The ventilation duration of the mushroom induction room is mainly related to weather changes and temperature changes. When the weather is relatively dry, the temperature is higher, and the weather is good, then the ventilation time of the mushroom induction room can be appropriately extended. But if it is low-temperature weather, or rainy weather, then the ventilation duration is best controlled at around two hours. Finally, if the humidity in the mushroom induction room is too high, we should also ventilate in time to reduce humidity and promote mushroom induction.
5. Topdressing
During the mushroom induction period of morels, we also need to pay attention to topdressing. But under normal circumstances, topdressing is not needed, because the nutrients in the mushroom bed are basically very sufficient and can maintain the normal mushroom induction needs of morels. However, if the purpose is to promote the mushroom induction speed of morels and improve the yield and quality of morels, then we can spread a layer of plant ash on the mushroom bed and then spray water. Or use an appropriate amount of potassium fertilizer for spraying, and the effect is also very good.
Generally speaking, if scientific mushroom induction management is carried out according to the above management process, then the yield and quality of morels can basically be guaranteed to a certain extent, so everyone still needs to seriously learn the professional cultivation techniques for morels.
