Many people equate vegetables grown with organic fertilizer with eco-friendly vegetables and pollution-free vegetables, which is incorrect.

Of course, I do not agree with some of the definitions of organic vegetables, green vegetables and pollution-free vegetables. I believe that to produce pollution-free vegetables, there must first be a pollution-free growing environment, so that eco-friendly, pollution-free vegetables can be grown. For example, even if you grow with organic fertilizer, because of air pollution, water pollution and so on, you still cannot grow green, pollution-free vegetables. Moreover, your organic fertilizer may not necessarily meet the standards; for example, your organic fertilizer may itself be contaminated, so how could you grow safe, edible vegetables? Take mushrooms: they easily accumulate heavy metals. If a place is contaminated with heavy metals, then the mushrooms grown there are toxic and cannot be eaten, so some wild mushrooms are not dared to be eaten by people, because it is unknown whether the place of origin is contaminated. The source of organic fertilizer is also worth noting; some organic fertilizers can meet the standards, and some cannot. For example, organic fertilizer from some farms, for some reason, has been contaminated or has an imbalanced nutrient profile because of the heavy use of various drugs. For example, farms and plantations often use potassium permanganate for disinfection and sterilization; too much accumulation of this will only cause excessive manganese and potassium and affect plant growth and the quality of the vegetables. Some drugs contain heavy metals or other harmful substances, and vegetables grown with such organic fertilizer are definitely not pollution-free vegetables.

Therefore, to grow safe, pollution-free vegetables, it is necessary to control the non-toxicity of air sources, water sources and fertilizer sources well, and there must also be a set of safety standards and testing conditions, so that it is easier to grow safe, pollution-free vegetables.
