Characteristics and traits: a hybrid indica rice variety. Compact plant type, plant height about 90 cm, purple leaf sheath, light green leaf color, 15-16 leaves on the main stem, medium tillering, high earing rate, 180,000-240,000 effective ears per mu, 110-140 total grains per ear, seed setting rate about 85%, 1000-grain weight 26 g. Thin husk, plump grains, protein 9.66%, brown rice rate 81.2%, milled rice rate 73.3%. Growth period 129 days as early rice, 125-130 days as middle rice, and 112-119 days as continuous late rice, good color change at the late stage, no premature senescence, medium fertilizer tolerance and lodging resistance; strong temperature sensitivity, poor cold tolerance at the seedling stage, medium resistance to rice blast, susceptible to bacterial leaf blight and brown planthopper. General yield about 450 kg per mu.

Cultivation points: sow at the right time, transplant short-aged seedlings, seedling age about 25 days. Sow 18,000-20,000 hills per mu, transplant more than 80,000 seedlings per mu. Apply 2000-2500 kg of organic fertilizer per mu, with basal fertilizer accounting for 70%, and complete topdressing within 7-10 days after transplanting. Control pests and diseases in time, and strictly prevent premature water cutoff at the late stage.
