Its usage is: add the above Chinese medicine fine powder to finished chicken feed No. 1, mix well for 100--150 broiler chickens to eat, can prevent and treat ascites syndrome in 7--35-day-old broiler chickens, use continuously for 3 days as 1 course of treatment, generally 1--2 courses of treatment can cure it.

Compound Danggui Shaoyao San is made by adding ingredients to Danggui Shaoyao San from Zhang Zhongjing's Jin Gui Yao Lue. This formula has the effects of harmonizing the spleen and stomach, activating blood and promoting diuresis, tonifying the spleen and strengthening the stomach, clearing heat and draining dampness, and relieving urgency and stopping pain. The author used this formula to cumulatively prevent and treat 0.25 ten-thousand broiler chickens with ascites syndrome, and the treatment results showed that its effect was especially good, with a cure rate of 97.5%.
