Variety source: A hybrid japonica rice combination developed by the Rice Research Institute of the Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Anhui Seed Company by crossing Liuqianxin A x HP121. Approval status: Approved in 1998 by the Anhui Provincial Crop Variety Approval Committee. Characteristics: This combination has a plant height of 105 cm, thick and sturdy stems, upright leaves, and strong tillering ability. The total number of grains per panicle is about 140, the seed-setting rate is about 80%, and the 1000-grain weight is 26 grams. The average yield is 500 kg per mu. In 1995, it was rated as a high-quality rice of Anhui Province.
