New Green Intensive Rice Cultivation Technology for Cold Regions
Agricultural science and technology innovation is the fundamental measure for improving overall agricultural production capacity. Safety, ecology, increased income and increased efficiency are the new directions for rice production development. The new cultivation technology - intensive rice cultivation - has been successfully tested over four years at Suihua Yong'an Farm.
1. Cultivation characteristics
It saves seed, saves water, saves labor, saves seedling supplies and saves seedbed area, while being environmentally friendly, increasing yield, reducing costs, increasing benefits and having wide adaptability. It is an advanced rice production cultivation technology in the world today.
2. Main cultivation technical measures and characteristics
1. Select and breed the high-quality variety "Qianghua No. 1" with early maturity, high yield, strong stress resistance and strong tillering ability.
2. Transplant milk-stage seedlings; transplant before the second leaf after weaning, causing no root damage and no transplanting shock.
3. Increase the application of organic fertilizer, protect environmental sanitation and maintain ecological balance.
4. Transplant a single seedling per hill, fully extending the light energy utilization rate of each leaf.
5. Plant at a reasonable density, fully giving play to the production and development capacity of a single plant; the cultivation density is 9 x 9 (cun).
6. Irrigate reasonably and give play to the effective utilization rate of the soil.
7. Sow and transplant at the right time to reduce the loss of seed nutrients, so that seedlings grow and develop at the optimum temperature.
8. Careful management:
(1) Intensified seed treatment.
(2) Raise seedlings in seedling-throwing trays to reduce root damage, reduce the time for lifting and transporting seedlings during transplanting, and prevent transplanting shock.
(3) Apply organic fertilizer, chemical fertilizer, micro-fertilizer and biological fertilizer all at once before releasing water, achieving deep fertilization and ensuring seedling growth and development.
(4) It is best to irrigate once with "horse-racing water" after transplanting, then hoe and rake four times to increase soil oxygen and prevent surface cracks from damaging roots; irrigate with "horse-racing water" at the late tillering stage.
3. Benefit analysis
1. Saves seed: intensive cultivation uses 10 jin of seed per hectare, while conventional cultivation uses 60 jin, saving 50 jin of seed.
2. Saves seedling supplies: conventional seedling raising takes 1 month, while intensive cultivation takes 15 days, saving 50%.
3. Saves water: there is no need to maintain a water layer at all times; irrigate with "horse-racing water".
4. Saves seedling area: intensive cultivation requires only 60 sq m of seedling raising per hectare, while conventional seedling raising requires at least 100 sq m.
5. Saves labor for transplanting: no need to carry seedlings; raise seedlings in the paddy field and transplant immediately after lifting.
6. Increases yield by 10%-20%, saves cost by 10%-20%, and increases benefits by more than 25%-35%.
4. Sowing period
May 3 to 10 in the third accumulated temperature zone.
