Variety source: Tianfeng / Zhuke No. 2 // 78130.

Characteristics: a medium-maturing early indica variety. Well-developed root system, sturdy stems, stems not exposed at the nodes, plant type moderately compact, strong tillering ability, good early vigor, plant height 80-90 cm, 13 leaves on the main stem, leaves erect, leaf color emerald green, good color change at the late stage. About 15 effective panicles per plant, good early vigor. Brown rice rate 82.7%, milled rice rate 74.2%, head rice rate 54.4%, gel consistency 40 mm, amylose 25.7%, protein 9.37%, medium rice quality. Whole growth period 115-117 days. Moderately resistant to rice blast and white-backed planthopper, susceptible to bacterial leaf blight and brown planthopper. Average yield about 430 kg per mu.

Cultivation points: sowing rate about 40 kg per mu, seedling age 25-30 days, dense planting spacing of 20 cm x 16.5 cm or 20 cm x 20 cm is suitable, 3-4 seedlings per hill. Apply heavy base fertilizer, apply topdressing early, finish topdressing within 10-15 days after transplanting, apply panicle fertilizer as appropriate 20-25 days before heading to maintain tillers and increase panicles, and apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizer appropriately. Pay attention to water control to suppress the occurrence of sheath blight.

Suitable range: planted as double-season early rice in Fujian, Jiangxi and other provinces.
