Liyou 57 (rice)
A hybrid japonica rice variety bred by the Rice Research Institute of the Liaoning Academy of Agricultural Sciences, with the pedigree Liming A x C57. It was registered by the crop variety approval committees of Beijing, Henan Province and Shandong Province in 1983, and by the National Crop Variety Approval Committee in 1990. It has good yielding ability, moderate disease resistance and poor grain quality. It is suitable for planting in parts of the rice-growing areas of Northeast and North China.
