How is rice dry-raised? Keep these thirteen points in mind

The trayless seedling-throwing technique for dry-raised rice uses a rice-specific slow-release medicinal-fertilizer super-absorbent seed coating agent called "Dry-Raising Nanny" to coat rice seeds, carry out dry seedling raising, and after pulling the seedlings, directly throw them into the field. It is a light, simplified, and cost-saving rice cultivation technique. Its key cultivation points are as follows: 1. Select the correct model. For application in dry-raised seedling throwing, the seedling-throwing type of "Dry-Raising Nanny" should be chosen. 2. Determine the dosage. Each bag (350 grams) of "Dry-Raising Nanny" super-absorbent seed coating agent coats 1-1.5 kg of rice seed. 3.

Its key cultivation points are as follows:

3. Soak the seeds well. Soak the selected rice seeds in clean water for 12-24 hours. When the temperature is low, soak the seeds for a longer time; when the temperature is high, soak the seeds for a shorter time.

4. Coating method. Remove the soaked rice seeds and drain them until they no longer drip, then they can be coated. At a ratio of one bag of "Dry-Raising Nanny" coating 1-1.5 kg of rice seed, mix the seeds so that the seed coating agent completely covers the seeds.

5. Choose a good seedling-raising site, apply sufficient base fertilizer, and prepare the seedling beds well. Choose loam fields (or muddy fields) that are relatively fertile and have fewer weeds as seedling fields.

6. Water thoroughly at the base. The base water of the dry-raised rice seedling bed should be applied sufficiently and thoroughly so that the 0-10 cm soil layer of the seedling bed reaches a saturated state.

7. Sow evenly and cover the seeds. Sow the coated seeds evenly and promptly, and after light [blocked], cover with a thin layer of 2-3 cm of fine soil.

8. Spray a dedicated herbicide for dry-raised rice seedling fields, such as Hanyangqing.

9. On the afternoon one day before pulling seedlings for throwing, the seedling bed needs to be watered thoroughly once, so that the seedling roots carry "moisture-absorbing mud balls" to help the seedlings stand. Generally, one or two seedlings should be pulled up as one clump.

10. The dry-raised seedling-throwing method, field management in the main field, and pest and disease control are the same as conventional plastic-tray seedling throwing.

11. The seeding rate per mu in the main field is about 1.5 kg for hybrid rice, and the ratio of seedling field to main field is 1:12-15.

12. After sowing for seedling raising, determine whether to cover with plastic film according to the temperature. When the temperature is low, cover with plastic film to preserve heat and moisture.

13. Do not irrigate within two days after seedling throwing. .
