Chiral technology works by scientifically adjusting the sequence of a drug's chemical structure, thereby removing components in the drug that have no effect or are harmful, making the drug's active ingredients purer, its toxic and side effects smaller, its efficacy faster and its treatment course shorter. Licorice is widely distributed in our country, is called the "national herb", and is also a raw material drug widely used for medicinal and edible purposes at home and abroad.

Tao Huiqi, senior engineer and president of Jiangsu Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical, introduced that Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical has been devoted to the development and research of licorice for 20 years and has achieved multiple domestic firsts: the first to launch the "diammonium glycyrrhizinate" product that is easily absorbed by the human body; the first to adopt chiral technology to launch the extremely high-purity "magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate" product; and the first to use phospholipid complex technology to launch the "diammonium glycyrrhizinate lipid complex" product that can alleviate the effect of gastric acid on drug efficacy. In particular, the magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate product "Tianqing Ganmei", which has been included in the national "863" Program, is the first Class I new drug with independent intellectual property rights in the field of anti-inflammatory and liver-protective drugs in China.
