Main traits: Plant type upright, few branches, plant height around 80cm, stems green with a slight light purple tinge, strong growth vigor; leaves green, many hairs, compound leaves large, leaf margins flat, 3-5 pairs of lateral leaflets, closely arranged; inflorescence peduncle light green with a few small purple spots, pedicel articulation colored, corolla light purple, petal tips colorless, medium in size, no double petals, stamens orange-yellow, stigma 3-lobed, style relatively long, ovary cross-section colorless, medium pollen amount, able to set fruit naturally; berries green, small, with seeds; tubers large and uniform, eyes deep, relatively few, tuber set concentrated; semi-light-sprouted young sprouts round and purple at the base, blunt and light purple at the tip, many hairs; tuber dormancy period relatively short, good storage tolerance. Late-maturing, growth period more than 120 days; steamed eating quality of tubers medium; processing quality: dry matter 18.8%, starch 12.4-16.5%, reducing sugar 0.47%, crude protein 1.19%, vitamin C 13.4mg/100g; relatively resistant to late blight, slightly susceptible to blackleg and leaf roll virus diseases, relatively drought tolerant; in irrigated land of the Northwest Plateau, yield 20000-2500kg per 667 square meters, in dryland about 1500kg per 667 square meters.

Suitable growing areas: Adapted to cultivation in the Northwest region; mainly distributed in Qinghai Province, and also cultivated in Gansu and Ningxia and other provinces and regions.

Key cultivation techniques: For this variety, the suitable density in irrigated land is 3200-3500 plants per 667 square meters, and 3500-3700 plants in dryland; hill up soil in time to reduce tuber exposure and lower quality, and do not bruise young tubers when hilling.
