(2) Characteristics and traits: The whole growth period is 153 days, 3-4 days longer than Shanzhai 8; moderate plant type, strong tillering ability, neat panicle layer, stiff culm and lodging resistance, good color conversion, plant height 94 cm, effective panicles per mu 186,000, grains per panicle 130-140, seed-setting rate 85%, 1000-grain weight 30.6 g, brown rice rate 82.3%, milled rice rate 68.5%, head milled rice rate 51.5%, grain quality and eating quality superior to the control. Leaf blast and neck blast both grade 5, resistance to rice blast fungus stronger than the control.

(3) Yield performance: The two-year regional trial average yield per mu is 440-480 kg, more than 10% higher than the control; the production trial is 10-15% higher than the control; seed production yield per mu is 200-250 kg.

(4) Suitable planting areas: Suitable for planting in the basin hills and higher-altitude areas along the basin edges of our province.
