Correct methods for using Toyota Golden Potassium on potatoes
Potatoes are a typical potassium-loving crop. To harvest 100 kg of economic yield (tubers), they need to absorb 0.5 kg of nitrogen, 0.2 kg of phosphorus, and 1.06 kg of potassium. It can be seen that potassium is 2 times that of nitrogen and 5 times that of phosphorus. Toyota Golden Potassium has been applied to potatoes by farmers in Tangshan, Hebei, Tianjin, Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia and other areas for several years, with obvious yield-increasing effects. There are two ways to use it:
1. Seed dressing: at a seeding rate of 150 kg per mu, use 2 bottles (500 ml) of Toyota Golden Potassium (postcode: 454650, address: No. 39 Tiexi Road, Jiyuan City, Henan Province, Jiyuan City Toyota Fertilizer Co., Ltd.). After cutting the seed potatoes into pieces, spread them in a shaded place on plastic sheeting or a mat (not too thick, about 10 cm is appropriate) and let them air for a while. When there is no moisture (exuding liquid) on the surface of the cut pieces, mix Toyota Golden Potassium with an appropriate amount of water and spray it evenly on the seed potatoes. In order to make all the potato pieces coated with Toyota Golden Potassium, turn them appropriately. If they have already sprouted, be careful to avoid damaging the sprouts as much as possible when turning them. They can then be planted immediately.
2. Base application: mix 2 bottles (500 ml) per mu with an appropriate amount of water, evenly mix into an appropriate amount of decomposed farm manure, and broadcast it in the planting furrow (or mix with an appropriate amount of water and use a sprayer to spray it evenly in the planting furrow), then plant.
3. Precautions: no matter which method is used, cover with soil promptly after sowing, and try to shorten the time of direct sunlight during the entire operation.
