The plant type is relatively compact, with vigorous growth, a relatively large panicle type, medium tillering ability, and medium-green leaf color. Population uniformity is good, color retention at the late stage is good, and lodging resistance is relatively strong; inoculation identification shows moderate resistance to bacterial leaf blight and panicle neck blast, and resistance to sheath blight; for stripe leaf blight, the highest incidence rate per hill in field planting identification in 2005-2006 was 69.5% (the two-year average incidence rate per hill of the susceptible control was 87.6%); according to quality testing by the Food Quality Testing Center of the Ministry of Agriculture in 2006, the head rice rate was 62.4%, the chalky grain rate was 25.0%, the chalkiness degree was 1.5%, the gel consistency was 72.0 mm, and the amylose content was 15.5%. The physicochemical indicators of rice quality reached the national standard third-grade high-quality rice standard.
