It has strong tillering ability, a relatively compact plant type, relatively long and upright flag leaves, and dark green leaf color; the leaf sheath and glume tip are purple, the grains are large and long, and awnless; grain quality is slightly better than the control, resistance to rice blast is stronger than the control, with leaf blast at grades 5-7 and neck blast at grades 3-7.

(3) Yield performance: In the 1997 and 1998 provincial regional trials, the average yield per mu was 564.25 kg, 5.64% higher than the control Shanyou 63. In the 1998 production trial, the average yield per mu was 581.7 kg, 6% higher than the control.

(4) Cultivation points: In cultivation, timely early sowing is required, strong seedlings with multiple tillers should be raised, N, P, and K should be applied in combination, with heavy basal application and early topdressing; other cultivation techniques are the same as the control Shanyou 63.
