Variety source: D Shan A x Minghui 63.

Characteristics: medium indica late-maturing hybrid rice. Plant height 100-110 cm, plant type moderately compact, total leaf number on the main stem about 17, effective panicles per mu 160,000-190,000, average panicle length 25 cm, 130-150 grains per panicle, seed-setting rate 85%-93%, uniform heading, 1000-grain weight about 28 g. Full growth period 145-150 days, 130 days as double-cropping late rice. Tolerant to heavy fertilization and resistant to lodging, wide adaptability, resistance to rice blast slightly stronger than Shanyou 63, the male sterile line has good flowering habits, and high seed production yield. General field yield about 500 kg per mu.

Cultivation points: sow early at the proper time, sowing rate 40-50 kg per mu, seedling age 45-55 days, basic seedlings per mu 80,000-100,000.
