Characteristics: early indica medium-maturing variety. Plant height 74-84 cm, stems thick and tough, plant type moderate, main stem with 13 leaves, effective panicles per mu 280,000-320,000, grains per panicle 63-73, 1000-grain weight 26-28 g. Full growth period 118 days, early seedling vigor and cold tolerance relatively poor, grain quality below medium, good lodging resistance, relatively wide adaptability. Relatively resistant to rice blast, moderately susceptible to bacterial leaf blight. Average yield about 400 kg per mu.

Cultivation points: thin sowing for strong young seedlings is advisable, seedling age 25-30 days, transplant 20,000-25,000 hills per mu, 5-8 seedlings per hill, shallow irrigation in the early stage, timely field drying, alternating dry and wet in the late stage with wet as the main condition.
