In the 2001 continued trial, the average yield was 692.3 kg/667 sq m, an 8.7% increase over the control Qiuguang, reaching a significant level. In the 2001 production trial, the average yield was 704.5 kg/667 sq m, an 18.7% increase over the control Qiuguang. The average whole growth period over the two years of regional trials was 154.7 days, 3.2 days later maturing than the control. Plant height 105.5 cm, total grains per panicle 134.4, filled grain rate 84.4%, 1000-grain weight 26.7 g. Seedling blast grade 3, leaf blast grade 0, panicle blast rate 0%-46%. Head rice rate 57.1%-56.6%, chalky grain rate 66%-46%, chalkiness degree 7.3%-4.6%, amylose content 16.2%-18.7%, gel consistency 81-90 mm. After two years of regional trials and one year of production trial, this variety showed a moderate maturity period, good yield performance, resistance to seedling blast and leaf blast, susceptibility to panicle blast, and medium grain quality.
