Good resistance: In 2005, samples were uniformly sent by the Chongqing Seed Station to the Fuling District Agricultural Science Institute of Chongqing for resistance identification, and the results showed that its comprehensive resistance index was 7.25, susceptible to rice blast; the comprehensive resistance index of the control Shanyou 63 was 8.5, highly susceptible to rice blast; its resistance was significantly better than that of Shanyou 63.

Excellent grain quality: In 2005, samples taken by the Chongqing Seed Station and sent to the Rice and Rice Products Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center of the Ministry of Agriculture for determination showed brown rice rate 80.5%, milled rice rate 73.1%, head rice rate 50.7%, grain length 5.4 mm, length-width ratio 2.0, gel consistency 100 mm, amylose 2.6%, protein 9.9%; the comprehensive quality indices reached the specified quality standards for glutinous rice.
