Characteristics: A late-maturing variety. Plant type is semi-erect, vine length is medium, leaf tip color is green with purple leaf margins, leaves are heart-shaped with teeth, veins are light green, stems are light purple, tuber set is concentrated, number of tubers per plant is medium, tuber shape is long and spindle-shaped, tuber skin is earthy yellow, tuber flesh is yellow, good appearance, excellent sprouting ability, good storage tolerance. Dry matter rate is 27%, eating quality score is 75.3 points, starch content is 16.55%. Resistance identification to sweet potato bacterial wilt both indoors and in the field was moderate resistance. Drought tolerance is relatively poor.

Yield performance: In the 2004 provincial regional trial, the average fresh tuber yield per mu was 2470 kg, a decrease of 0.88% compared with the control variety Guangshu 128, and the decrease was not significant; the average dry tuber yield per mu was 663.1 kg, an increase of 13.25%, and the increase was extremely significant. In the 2005 retrial, the average fresh tuber yield per mu was 2547 kg, a decrease of 7.54%, and the decrease was extremely significant; the average dry tuber yield per mu was 695.1 kg, an increase of 7.04%, and the increase was extremely significant.

Key cultivation technical points: (1) When planting, build high ridges to facilitate tuber elongation; (2) For autumn-planted sweet potatoes, note that the later stage must not be too dry; after the Start of Winter, irrigate alternately dry and wet to maintain stems and leaves and promote tuber expansion; (3) Appropriately delay harvest.
