Edible Gardening 0 views
Variety source: introduced from the Beijing Xiaotangshan Specialty Vegetable Base. Characteristics: this variety is a first-generation (F1) hybrid, with a well-developed root system, erect stems, lignified stem bases, and strong branching ability. It likes warmth and fears frost; it is a short-day plant with low sensitivity to light requirements; during the fruiting period it requires dry air, as excessive rain leads to poor pollination. The plant type is medium-sized and grows vigorously. The fruit is rectangular; before ripening the fruit is bright green, and when mature the fruit is yellow (red). The fruit surface is smooth and the fruit shape is well-formed. It is a new type of colored sweet pepper. Cultivation points:

Cultivation points: for raising seedlings, the seed requirement is 120-150g/mu; sow from late October to early November; the seedling age is 80-100 days. Once the plants have 9-14 true leaves, a plant height of 18-25cm, large and intact cotyledons, thick and glossy true leaves, and large flower buds (the first pepper) they can be transplanted. Keep 2000-3400 holes per mu, with 2 plants per hole. During the growing period, pay attention to preventing flower and fruit drop. When the first pepper flowers, apply 2,4-D at 15-20ppm or Tomatotone at 25-30ppm to the flower organs.
