Characteristics: This variety is a three-line late-maturing hybrid mid-season rice. In 2004, it participated in the Hunan Province super rice regional trial. Plant height is about 115 cm, with a plant type that is moderately compact, and strong fertilizer tolerance and lodging resistance. Tillering ability is medium, and it has good luxuriance, uniform heading, and good color retention at the late stage. Generally, there are 164,300 effective panicles per mu, 172.3 total grains per panicle, about 80% seed setting rate, and 1,000-grain weight of 27.6 g.

Cultivation points: When cultivated as mid-season rice in western Hunan, sowing is generally around April 20, with a sowing rate of 10 kg per mu in the seedling field. At sowing, mix 2 g of paclobutrazol per kg of seed. For ordinary water-raised seedlings, transplant when there are about 5 leaves. The transplanting density is 6 x 7 cun, with 2 grain seedlings per hill.
