When planted in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, this variety has a whole growth period of 110-125 days, is medium-short-stemmed, with a plant height of 90-95 cm, and does not lodge. It has large panicles and many grains, with an average of 130-160 grains per panicle, a 1000-grain weight of about 25 grams, and about 200,000 productive panicles per 667 sq m (1 mu). It is highly resistant to rice blast, has strong stress resistance and wide adaptability. In Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Liaoning and other areas, spring sowing can replace spring corn, with a high yield of 600-700 kg per 667 sq m; in the Huang-Huai region, it can be sown in summer after wheat harvest, realizing two seasons of rice and wheat and replacing summer corn and @#@245@#@ to achieve two crops and two harvests.

The milling yield of White Pearl No. 1 dryland rice is above 70%, and the rice quality is excellent, comparable to high-quality rice from Northeast China. Calculated at a yield of 600 kg per 667 sq m, it can process 420 kg of rice, 180 kg of rice bran and 600 kg of straw. The benefit is 3-4 times that of corn, and selling propagated seed brings even higher benefits.

White Pearl No. 1 has relatively strong tillering ability, with a seeding rate of about 6 kg per 667 sq m.
