3. Key Points of Cultivation Techniques
Haihua Qie No. 1 has good early maturity and can be cultivated in open fields or protected areas. For open-field cultivation, the density is 3000 plants/mu; for protected cultivation, the density can be appropriately reduced. In the Beijing area, sowing and seedling raising are generally done in mid-to-late December; for protected cultivation, transplanting is done in late March; for open-field cultivation, transplanting is done in mid-to-late April. After transplanting, combine promotion and control, avoid excessive fertilizer and water, and focus on early-stage yield to increase returns. Harvest in protected cultivation begins in early May, and open-field harvest begins in mid-May.
4. Suitable Planting Areas
Suitable for cultivation in the Beijing area.
