Huafeng pointed pepper is a first-generation hybrid variety, medium-early maturing. From sowing to first harvest in spring planting is about 115 days, and from sowing to first harvest in autumn planting is about 75 days. The plant grows vigorously, with a plant height of about 65 cm, and the first flower node is at the 9th-10th node. It has strong continuous fruiting ability. The fruit is long ox-horn shaped, with a fruit length of about 16-18 cm and a single fruit weight of 35 g (it can reach 45 g with sufficient fertilizer and water); the fruit skin is green and smooth, the flesh is thick, the cavity is small, it is pressure-resistant and transport-resistant, and the pungency is medium. It has strong heat tolerance and moisture tolerance, is highly resistant to Phytophthora blight and Fusarium wilt, resistant to viral disease, and has wide adaptability. It is high-yielding and stable-yielding, and the general yield per mu can reach more than 3000 kg. Huafeng pointed pepper participated in the provincial regional trials in 2000 and 2001, and its disease resistance and high-yielding performance were very outstanding. Huafeng pointed pepper is suitable for cultivation throughout the country. In the Guangzhou area, the spring sowing period is from December to February of the following year, and the autumn sowing period is from July to September. In Maoming, Zhanjiang, Hainan and other places, it can be planted in winter.
