I. Storage indicators:

1. Temperature: -0.51°C;

2. Gases: O2 concentration 2-3%; CO2 concentration 6-8%;

3. Humidity: 9095%;

4. Freezing point: -0.7 -0.8°C;

5. Gas injury thresholds: O2<1%, CO2<12%;

6. Storage period: 4-10 months.

II. Storage method: controlled atmosphere storage.

III. Technical process: timely harvest (without damage) - transport to the storage site - appropriate grading - remove injured, damaged and diseased plants, remove leaf sheaths - bundle (about 1 kg per bundle) - leak check on fresh-keeping bags - bagging (scape tips facing outward) - put into storage and onto shelves (bag openings left open) - pre-cooling (-1-0°C) - preservative treatment (first fumigate with TBZ smoke agent; when the scape temperature approaches 0°C, spray TBZ solution onto the scape tips) - tie the bag openings tightly (when the scape temperature reaches 0°C) - storage.

IV. Precautions: Garlic scape specifications: length 300 mm, diameter 3 mm;

Fresh-keeping bag specifications: 1100 mm x 600 mm, capacity 15 kg;

Preservative treatment: TBZ smoke agent dosage is 3-5 g/cubic meter;

TBZ 100-fold solution dosage is 500 mL/8 tonnes of garlic scapes;

The indicators for opening the bag to release gas are: O2<1%, CO2<12%;
