They fruited in October 2004. From the 150 plants, 20 were selected that produced 5-10 kg of fresh fruit per plant. Among them, tree No. 1 performed especially outstandingly: robust tree body, dark green leaf color, luxuriant branches and leaves, plump fruit juice, large leaves, thick leaves, disease resistance, standard tree shape, good appearance, 302 clusters of fruit per plant, each cluster weighing 33 g, each berry weighing 1.

At present, among 4-year-old trees of the same age nationwide, it is the highest-yielding per plant, and no tree exceeding the yield of tree No. 1 has yet been found.

From September 3-12, 2004, Professor Yan Tinglin (13019382804), a famous expert in traditional Chinese medicinal materials of Northeast China from Shenyang Agricultural University, and Yin Chunyi, deputy editor-in-chief of Liaoning Farmers' Daily, successively went to the orchard to conduct on-site careful investigation and verification. The situation was true. They took a large number of photographs and videos and gave high praise, believing it to be a variant variety. If it could remain high-yielding for three consecutive years, an application could be made to the Liaoning Province Variety Approval Committee for approval.

On September 29, 2004, Liaoning Farmers' Daily reported it under the title "Red Pearl Bears Many Fruits." On December 21, the agricultural economics information column of Dandong Daily reported that "Red Pearl" has twice the yield of ordinary varieties.

In 2004, Secretary Lu of Fengcheng Vocational High School (0415-6810956), Ms. Yang of Xiaomiaogou, Zhongxing Village (0415-8230615), and Yu Longjun of Dongtang Primary School introduced and planted a total of 700 plants from our site in October, planted in autumn. After one year of observation in 2005, the growth was good, the tree form had taken shape and covered the trellis. A large number of flower buds formed, and fruit was seen in 2006. Inquiries are welcome.
