Select good varieties. Choose F1 hybrid varieties with large fruit, good quality and strong disease resistance, using 2000 seeds per 667 m2. Cultivate disease-free strong seedlings. Do a good job of seedbed disinfection and seed disinfection; soak seeds in 10% trisodium phosphate for 30 minutes, rinse and then soak to promote germination, preferably raising seedlings in 128-cell trays. When raising seedlings in summer and autumn, cover with shade net at noon, install insect-proof net at the air vents to prevent insects and prevent viral diseases; before transplanting, spray 1-2 times with Zhibingling II, spray 3-4 times with potassium dihydrogen phosphate, to prevent excessive growth, aging and the occurrence of diseased and weak seedlings. Fertilization, soil preparation

Fertilization, soil preparation, transplanting. Choose protected cultivation land where solanaceous fruit crops have not been planted in the previous three years, clear away the residues of the previous crop and weeds thoroughly, and apply more than 4000 kg of fully decomposed high-quality finely crushed organic fertilizer per 667 m2. Plow three times to reach the standard of level and fine soil. Make small high beds 50 cm wide and 18 cm high, with a row spacing of 100 cm and a plant spacing of 40 cm. It can also be planted in wide and narrow rows, with an average row spacing of 75-100 cm and a plant spacing of 40 cm, planting 1600-2000 plants per 667 m2.

Pruning and fruit retention. Keep two main branches per plant, remove side buds, and promptly remove the flower buds at 3-4 nodes from the base of the door; start retaining fruit from the fifth node. Side buds on the middle branches can appropriately retain fruit, and pinch the tips after leaving 3-4 leaves. Keep 7 main branches per square meter; no earthing up is needed. When the plant height is 50 cm, hang the main branches with string; the plant height can reach more than 2 m, with about 20 peppers per plant.

Management measures: (1) Watering. After transplanting, water to promote seedling recovery, then cultivate to conserve soil moisture and promote root growth. After the fruiting period, water according to the season and weather, keeping it often moist. It is best to install drip irrigation, cover with plastic film, and drip 1-2 times a day. (2) Topdressing. Apply biological chicken manure in holes once every 10-20 days, 80-100 kg per 667 m2, or 15-20 kg of ternary compound fertilizer, and spray potassium dihydrogen phosphate on the leaves once every 7-10 days. (3) Temperature regulation and shading. The most suitable temperature is 25°C-30°C during the day and 15°C-23°C at night; do a good job of manual regulation.

Pest and disease control. (1) Broad mite, spray with 2500-fold solution of Chongmanke or 2000-fold solution of Tianwangxing for control. (2) Viral disease, once infected it has a great impact on yield, so prevention is the main approach; after onset, pull out diseased plants and bury them deeply. (3) Phytophthora blight, crop rotation, drench the roots with 500-fold solution of Shadufan.
