Spike spindle-shaped, spikelets densely arranged, long awns, white glumes, white kernels, plump grains, vitreous. Average spike number per mu 388,000 spikes, grains per spike 36.0, 1000-grain weight 42.9 g. Good yellowing. Cold resistance identification: medium cold resistance. Disease resistance identification: medium resistance to leaf rust and sheath blight, high susceptibility to stripe rust, powdery mildew and stem rust. Mixed samples tested in 2005 and 2006 respectively: test weight 798 g/L, 794 g/L, protein (dry basis) content 14.36%, 14.63%, wet gluten content 33.9%, 34.3%, sedimentation value 37.0 mL, 37.3 mL, water absorption 66.6%, 65.9%, stability time 3.6 minutes, 3.4 minutes, maximum resistance to extension 198 E.U, 250 E.U, extension area 50 sq cm, 64 sq cm.

Yield performance: In the 2004-2005 season, it participated in the variety regional trial of the northern irrigated land group in the Huang-Huai winter wheat region, with an average yield of 509.7 kg per mu, 3.79% higher than the control Shi 4185; in the 2005-2006 season continued trial, the average yield was 536.4 kg per mu, 7.82% higher than the control Shi 4185.
