At the seedling stage, the leaf color is light green, the leaves are wide, the plant height is 105-110 cm, the plant type is semi-compact, the tillering ability is medium, the main stem has 16 leaves, and the panicle type is loose. The panicle length is 18-20 cm, the number of grains per panicle is 120-140, and the 1000-grain weight is 27.6 g. The glumes are yellow-white and awnless. According to tests by the Rice and Rice Products Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, the brown rice rate is 83.2%, the milled rice rate is 74.8%, the head rice rate is 67.1%, the grain length is 5.2 mm, the grain length-to-width ratio is 1.9, the chalky grain rate is 38%, the chalkiness degree is 4.8%, the transparency is grade 1, the alkali spreading value is 7, the gel consistency is 82 mm, the amylose content is 17.7%, and the protein content is 8.5%. The rice quality is medium. Field identification and investigation of panicle neck blast showed medium resistance to panicle neck blast.

Yield performance: In 2004-2005, it participated in the regional trial of the medium-maturity rice group in Liaoning Province, with yield increases at 10 sites and yield decreases at 2 sites. The two-year average yield per mu was 602.63 kg, an increase of 8.65% over the control Liaoyan 16; in 2006, it participated in the production trial of the same group, with an average yield per mu of 590.06 kg, an increase of 10.33% over the control Liaojing 371.

Key cultivation techniques: Sow in mid-April, transplant seedlings at the end of May, with a row spacing of 30 cm x 13.4 cm, and plant 4-5 seedlings per hill. Apply 50-60 kg of standard nitrogen fertilizer, 15 kg of phosphate fertilizer, and 1-1.5 kg of potassium fertilizer per mu.
