Origin: Bred by the Crop Research Institute of the Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences using Jiangjin Wujianshao as the female parent and Neiyuan as the male parent to create a hybrid combination, then selected through years of screening, identification and trials. Characteristics: early-maturing, medium-vine type. Semi-erect plant type, vine length about 100 cm, 5-8 basal branches, vine thickness about 0.5 cm, vine color purple, nodes purple. Young leaves purple; mature leaves green with purple, heart-shaped, medium-sized storage roots spindle-shaped, skin smooth, attractive shape; skin light red, flesh light orange-red; dry matter rate of storage roots 25%-2

Young leaves purple; mature leaves green with purple, heart-shaped, medium-sized storage roots spindle-shaped, skin smooth, attractive shape; skin light red, flesh light orange-red; dry matter rate of storage roots 25%-28%, soluble sugar content 7.1%, total sugar content 29.6%, each 100 g fresh storage root contains VC 34 mg, carotenoids 1.652 mg; when cooked, rich flavor, sweet, soft, currently the best variety in the province for eating and food processing. Early-maturing, can be harvested 90 days after planting; strong resistance to black spot disease, good storability.

Yield performance: In the 1994 provincial regional trial early-maturing group, harvested 100 days after planting, average fresh storage root yield 1349.7 kg per mu, an increase of 1.8%; in the 1995 regional trial early-maturing group, harvested 100 days after planting, average fresh storage root yield 1567.6 kg per mu, an increase of 1.3%; in the 1996 provincial regional trial early-maturing group, harvested 100 days after planting, average fresh storage root yield 1240.9 kg per mu, an increase of 3.8%. Three-year average, fresh storage root yield 1375.9 kg per mu, an increase of 2.2%. In the 1997 production trial, average fresh storage root yield 1104 kg per mu, an increase of 17.3%.

Cultivation points: 1) Early sowing and early planting, early application of base fertilizer and seedling-promoting fertilizer: raise seedlings in early March, transplant cuttings in early to mid-May. 2) Planting density of more than 4000 plants per mu. 3) To improve the marketability of storage roots, dip cuttings in a 500-fold trichlorfon aqueous solution at transplanting to prevent insect and rodent damage.

Suitable planting areas: areas with better fertilizer and water conditions, with emphasis on suburban areas and areas with food processing needs; can also be grown as an autumn potato.
