Field identification of panicle neck blast showed susceptibility to panicle neck blast.

Yield performance: In 2004-2005, it participated in the regional trial of the medium-early maturing rice group in Liaoning Province, with yield increases at 7 sites and decreases at 3 sites; the two-year average yield per mu was 537.47 kg, 3.74% higher than the control Tiejing 5; in 2006, it participated in the production trial of the same group, with an average yield per mu of 532.3 kg, 5.31% higher than the control Shennong 315.

Key cultivation techniques: Sow in early April, transplant rice seedlings in late May, with row spacing and plant spacing of 30 cm x 13.3 cm, and plant 3 seedlings per hill. Apply 50 kg of standard nitrogen fertilizer, 15 kg of phosphate fertilizer and 20 kg of potassium fertilizer per mu. Transplant in shallow water, tiller with shallow-moist irrigation, and drain the field when enough tillers have developed. Pay attention to the prevention and control of rice blast.

Suitable areas: Shendao 1 is suitable for planting in the medium-early maturing rice areas of eastern and northern Liaoning Province.
