Disease resistance identification: moderately resistant to fusarium head blight and sheath blight, slow leaf rust, moderately susceptible to stripe rust, moderately susceptible to highly susceptible to stem rust, highly susceptible to powdery mildew. Mixed samples tested in 2005 and 2006 respectively: test weight 801 g/L, 797 g/L, protein (dry basis) content 14.73%, 14.02%, wet gluten content 33.0%, 28.2%, sedimentation value 48.8 ml, 47.5 ml, water absorption 60.6%, 60.8%, stability time 9.3 minutes, 10.9 minutes, maximum resistance to extension 453 E.U, 433 E.U, extensibility 16.7 cm, 15.5 cm, extension area 102.4 sq cm, 90.4 sq cm.

Yield performance: in the 2004-2005 season, participated in the regional trial of the winter wheat group in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, average yield per mu 395.4 kg, a 0.31% increase over the control Yangmai 158; in the 2005-2006 season continued trial, average yield per mu 392.1 kg, a 0.58% increase over the control Yangmai 158. In the 2006-2007 season production test, the average yield per mu in the four provinces of Hubei, Anhui, Jiangsu and Zhejiang was 410.3 kg, a 4.83% increase over the control Yangmai 158; the average yield per mu at the Xinyang site in Henan was 515.8 kg, a 6.2% increase over the control Yumai 18.
