Let us learn about it together.

Spinach Planting Time
Spinach can be planted all year round. Because its planting time differs, it can be divided into four varieties: spring, summer, autumn and winter. The four varieties all differ in light intensity and duration.
Spring spinach is planted in early spring in March. After the beginning of spring, once the temperature rises above 5°C, it can be sown. One to two months after sowing, it can be harvested.
Summer spinach has strong heat tolerance and grows quickly. It can be sown in May-July and harvested in June-September.
Autumn spinach has fairly strong heat tolerance and is generally sown in August-September and can be harvested in September-October.
Overwintering spinach has strong cold tolerance and is usually sown in October-November and harvested around the Spring Festival.
Spinach Planting Method
1. Sowing and raising seedlings
The planting method for spinach is broadcast sowing. Before sowing, first soak the seeds in water for 12 hours. After soaking, place them in the refrigerator to chill for 24 hours. Take them out and place them in an environment at 20-25°C to promote germination. They will sprout in about 3-5 days, and after sprouting they can be sown. To ensure yield, sow about 3.5 kg per mu. After sowing, water once thoroughly, cover with 2-3 cm of soil, and keep the soil moist. In about one week, the seedlings will be complete.
2. Field management
Spinach has strong growth vigor. Once the seedlings emerge, it can be left to grow on its own, but to ensure yield, thinning is needed when true leaves appear. While thinning, weeds can also be removed in time. When 3-4 true leaves have grown, a light application of diluted fertilizer water can be given. When fertilizing, it should not be too concentrated, so as to avoid burning the roots and causing death due to excessive fertilizer concentration.
The above is the introduction to spinach planting time and method brought to you by Qinnong Network. When planting spinach, there are relatively few diseases, but it is prone to insect pests. If pests are found, handle them promptly by diluting and spraying the corresponding insecticide.
