Seed coating. Use a drought-resistant compound seed coating agent to coat corn seeds, to prevent and control pest and disease damage at the seedling stage, and to enhance root vitality and the plant's own stress resistance. Corn seeds that have been pre-germinated must not be coated, to prevent chemical injury.
Pre-germination. 2-3 days before sowing corn, soak the seeds in 40°C water for 8-12 hours, then remove them and place them at room temperature of 20°C-25°C for pre-germination. After the seeds show white sprouts, place them in a cool, dry, shaded place to air-dry for 6 hours to harden the sprouts.
