How to prevent deformed yams? All the prevention methods are here

How should late-stage management of yam cultivation be carried out? What points should be noted in late-stage management of yam cultivation? Experts advise as follows: plant yams in furrows, clean drainage ditches promptly, drain water promptly when it rains, and prevent furrow collapse. From early August to late September, in combination with disease and pest control, spray the leaf surface with 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate...
Deformed yams have a poor appearance  and cannot fetch a good price. How can yam deformation be prevented?

During yam cultivation, due to the influence of adverse environmental conditions, cultivation measures, management methods and other factors, the internal tissue structure of yams changes during growth, resulting in various odd shapes, such as branching at the upper end of the tuber, branching at the lower end, snake shape, flat-head shape, foot-sole shape, gourd shape, pockmarked shape, etc. These are collectively called deformed yams. The prevention measures are as follows:
1. Remove foreign objects in the furrow. When digging yam furrows by hand, this should be done before winter. Through the erosion of winter and spring rain and snow and freezing and weathering, the soil clods are fully weathered and crushed. As they thaw, fill the furrows, and when filling the furrows carefully remove stones, bricks, sand and gravel and other hard objects from the soil. Do not fill large clods into the furrows.
2. Plant according to technical regulations. Do not apply seed fertilizer in the planting furrow. When applying poisonous soil or poisonous bait to control underground pests, do not blindly increase the dose. You can spray the soil surface with 800-fold diluted Xin Gao Zhi Mo solution to reduce the amount of pesticide, keep warm and prevent freezing, prevent soil crusting, and suffocate and isolate sources of disease and pests.
3. Apply fully decomposed organic fertilizer, such as human excrement and urine, compost, barnyard manure and high-quality farmyard manure. Take advantage of the favorable opportunity of high temperatures in summer and autumn, when fermentation and decomposition are easy, to compost in advance. When the leaves begin to expand, spray the leaf surface with Yaocai Gen Da Ling. This makes the products of leaf photosynthesis (nutrients) transport to the root system, improves the nutrient conversion rate and soil-loosening capacity, makes the rhizome expand rapidly, and greatly increases the medicinal content.
