What are the common lotus root diseases and how to control them? Asking for advice.

Common lotus root diseases are:
1. Lotus root brown spot disease: a common leaf disease of lotus root, producing light brown lesions on the leaves, causing localized drying of the diseased leaves.
Control methods: rational close planting to ensure ventilation and light penetration in the lotus field; appropriately increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to improve plant disease resistance; promptly remove diseased plant residues to prevent the spread of the disease. In the early stage of the disease, promptly spray with 25% carbendazim 600-fold solution or 75% chlorothalonil 1000-fold solution.
2. Lotus root black spot disease: also called brown streak disease, occurs only on the leaves, and in severe cases the lesions merge and the leaves turn yellow and withered.
Control methods: In winter, remove diseased plant residues and leaves from the field and burn them in a centralized manner. In the early stage of the disease, promptly remove diseased leaves and spray with 70% thiophanate-methyl 1000-fold solution, 65% zineb 600-fold solution, or 1:1:160-200 Bordeaux mixture for control, generally spraying once every 10-15 days, for 2-3 consecutive sprayings.
3. Lotus root rot disease: also called wilt disease, mainly infects the underground stem, and the leaves of the aboveground part can also be affected. When the disease is severe, the entire field appears as if scorched by fire.
Control methods: (1) Agricultural control. Rational crop rotation is currently the most effective method for controlling this disease, with a rotation cycle generally of 2-3 years. Take care to select healthy plants from disease-free lotus fields as seed lotus roots to prevent the spread of pathogens. Apply fertilizer rationally, avoid over-application of nitrogen fertilizer, and enhance plant disease resistance. (2) Chemical control. Before planting, spray and fumigate the seeds with 70% thiophanate-methyl 1000-fold solution or 75% chlorothalonil 800-fold solution, cover with agricultural film and seal for 24 hours, then air-dry before planting. In the early stage of the disease, use 75% chlorothalonil 0.5 kg, add 30 kg of soil, mix well and spread into the shallow-water field, or use 50% carbendazim wettable powder 600-800-fold solution or 50% thiophanate wettable powder 800-1000-fold solution, spraying once every 7-10 days, for 2-3 consecutive sprayings, all of which have certain effects.
