What problems currently exist with radish fertilization? Please explain

Current radish fertilization has the following problems:
I. Existing problems and fertilization principles

In response to problems such as emphasizing nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer while neglecting potassium fertilizer, an imbalanced nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium ratio, unreasonable fertilization timing, obviously insufficient application of organic fertilizer, and insufficient attention to the application of trace element fertilizers, the following fertilization principles are proposed:

1. According to soil fertility conditions and target yield, optimize the amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers, with special attention to adjusting the amounts of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers and increasing potassium fertilizer application;

2. In calcareous soils in the north, the available contents of trace elements such as manganese, zinc, boron, and molybdenum are relatively low, so attention should be paid to supplementing these trace elements;

3. The rational application of organic fertilizer has an obvious effect on increasing radish yield and improving quality. Do not apply organic fertilizer that has not been fully decomposed to farmland. It is recommended to apply decomposed farmyard manure or commercial organic fertilizer;

4. Fertilizer application should be combined with high-yield and high-quality cultivation techniques, especially with drought-resistant water-saving and drainage management measures.

II. Radish fertilization recommendations

1. For a target yield of about 4500 kg/mu, apply 2-3 cubic meters of organic fertilizer per mu, or 2000-3000 kg of human excrement and urine or biogas slurry, 12-14 kg/mu of nitrogen fertilizer (N), 5-7 kg/mu of phosphorus fertilizer (P2O5), and 12-14 kg/mu of potassium fertilizer (K20);

2. For a target yield of about 3000 kg/mu, apply 1-2 cubic meters/mu of organic fertilizer, 8-10 kg/mu of nitrogen fertilizer (N), 4-6 kg/mu of phosphorus fertilizer (P205), and 10-12 kg/mu of potassium fertilizer (K20);

3. For a target yield of about 1500 kg/mu, apply 0.5-1 cubic meter/mu of organic fertilizer, 6-8 kg/mu of nitrogen fertilizer (N), 3-5 kg/mu of phosphorus fertilizer (P205), and 8-10 kg/mu of potassium fertilizer (K20).

Solid organic fertilizer should all be applied as base fertilizer, with 100% of solid organic fertilizer used as base fertilizer. Human excrement and urine and biogas slurry should be applied as topdressing in small amounts multiple times. 40% of the total nitrogen fertilizer should be applied as base fertilizer, and 60% should be applied as topdressing in 2 split applications during the rosette stage and early fleshy root growth stage. All phosphorus and potassium fertilizers should be applied as base fertilizer, or 2/3 of the potassium fertilizer should be applied as base fertilizer and 1/3 as topdressing during the early fleshy root growth stage. If no organic fertilizer is applied as base fertilizer, the nitrogen fertilizer may be increased as appropriate by 3-5 kg/mu and the potassium fertilizer by 2-3 kg/mu.

For fields deficient in trace elements such as boron, or fields that have shown boron deficiency symptoms in previous years, 1 kg of borax per mu may be applied as base fertilizer before sowing, or a 0.1%-0.5% borax or boric acid aqueous solution may be sprayed on the leaves during the middle and late growth stages of radish, once every 5.6 days, for 2-3 consecutive sprays.
