Seed treatment To improve the germination rate of rice, the seeds should be sun-dried before sowing, then 2 ml of Baike (25% prochloraz) or 15 g of Exianqing (16% prochloraz·cartap) is added to 5-6 kg of water to soak 5-6 kg of rice seed, and for every 5-6 kg of water, 10 g of 10% imidacloprid wettable powder is also added, soaking for 72 hours, soaking by day and airing by night, then accelerating...

Water management For dry-raised seedlings, when the film is removed, a thorough watering should be given in time to prevent seedling death; before the 3-leaf stage, keep the seedlings moist to promote rapid growth of roots and leaves; after the 3-leaf stage, focus on water-controlled dry management, so that no watering is done unless the leaves roll, and on rainy days the field is drained once the rain stops. For water-raised seedlings, do not maintain a deep water layer for a long time.

Fertilizer management Dry-raised seedlings require relatively little fertilizer during the seedling stage. When the seedbed is fully fertilized, additional topdressing is generally not needed during the seedling stage, but for seedling fields with poor fertilization, insufficient base fertilizer, or yellowing, quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer should be applied in time, with 10-20 kg of urea per mu, and watering should be done promptly to prevent fertilizer damage. Water-raised seedlings require relatively more fertilizer during the seedling stage, with more topdressing, which should be applied evenly in small amounts several times to prevent seedling burn.

Pest and disease control Before sowing, apply 150 ml of 48% chlorpyrifos emulsifiable concentrate and 1 kg of 35% phoxim microcapsule granules per mu by broadcasting before land preparation; after sowing, mix 100 g of 40% phoxim emulsifiable concentrate with bait and broadcast it around the seedling field in the evening to control underground pests. After full emergence, to control damping-off and bacterial wilt, select one of the following two formulas per mu of seedling field, add 50-75 kg of water, and spray. For weed control in the seedling field, from the 2-leaf 1-heart stage to the 4-leaf stage, use 30-40 g of bensulfuron-methyl·quinclorac (32% bensulfuron-methyl·quinclorac) per mu, add 30-40 kg of water, and spray. Drain the water before application, and 1-2 days after application, add a 2-5 cm water layer and keep it for 5-7 days. To control pests and diseases, per mu use 40 g of 25% imidacloprid wettable powder plus 250 ml of Junkeduke, or 30 g of Jiajie (50% chlorobromoisocyanuric acid) plus 100 g of Sanfushun (6% albendazole·carbendazim), add 50-75 kg of water, and spray once every 5-7 days.
