Common potato diseases include the following:
A. Potato late blight
1. Prevention: choose protective fungicides, such as Dashengfu (mancozeb suspension concentrate produced by Dow AgroSciences), Bibei (Bordeaux mixture).
Key technical points for preventive fungicides:
(1) Spray carefully, covering the entire plant; adding imported adjuvants is recommended.
(2) Use continuously for more than 2 times.
2. Treatment: options include Syngenta's Feige, Shaduvam; Bayer's Infinito; BASF's Caite, and other fungicides.
B. Potato early blight
1. Prevention: mancozeb (Dashengfu), carbendazim, thiophanate-methyl are sufficient.
2. Treatment: 3 ml of Fuliku or 5 ml of Shike mixed with 30 jin of water for spraying. Do not use during the seedling stage.
C. Potato blackleg
1. Sterilize the cutting knife.
2. Use agricultural streptomycin for seed dressing or Jianshoumi for seed soaking.
3. After occurrence: 25 g of Bibei + 50 ml of Jianshoumi mixed with 30 jin of water for spraying.
4. Because blackleg is a seed-borne and soil-borne bacterial disease, prevention is key. Low temperatures and freezing injury after sowing are key triggering factors.

E. Potato verticillium wilt (early death disease)
1. Verticillium wilt is a soil-borne and seed-borne disease.
2. Seed soaking: 8 ml of Ruimiaoqing mixed with 16 jin of water; this is one of the key periods for controlling verticillium wilt.
3. At full seedling stage: 8 ml of Ruimiaoqing + 15 ml of Biou mixed with 30 jin of water for spraying; another key period for controlling verticillium wilt.
