The timing of wheat pest and disease control is most critical. If you want to control pests and diseases more effectively, you can refer to the following methods:

Rosette dwarf virus disease The best control period is mid-March, using a 1000-fold dilution of 50% methamidophos or a 1500-fold dilution of 40% omethoate to spray the edge rows of wheat fields adjacent to insect sources.

Rust disease From early March to mid-April, when the diseased leaf rate reaches 10%, spray 30 ml of 20% triadimefon emulsifiable concentrate per mu mixed with 75 kg of water, and spray again after an interval of one week.

Powdery mildew From early April to early May, when the diseased leaf rate reaches 30% or when the flag leaves show scattered infection, spray 50 ml of 20% triadimefon emulsifiable concentrate per mu mixed with 75 kg of water.

Fusarium head blight From late April to mid-May, when diseased plants are found in the wheat field, use a 500-fold dilution of 50% carbendazim for control.

Armyworm From late April to early May, when there are more than 10,000 larvae per mu, spray a 1500-fold dilution of 40% monocrotophos.

Wheat midge
In mid-to-late April, when there are more than 5 larvae per 15 cm x 15 cm x 20 cm soil sample, use 200 ml of 50% parathion emulsifiable concentrate or 50% phoxim emulsifiable concentrate per mu mixed with 3 kg of water and 30 kg of fine soil, and broadcast it into the wheat rows.

Wheat aphid From late March to late May, when the aphid-infested plant rate reaches about 50% and the number of aphids per 100 plants exceeds 500, spray a 1500-2000 fold dilution of 40% omethoate.
