When cultivating Angelica sinensis with plastic film mulching, note the following points:
1. Choose a good previous crop field. Select fertile, loose, deep-soiled, shady terraced fields with relatively high organic matter content. A wheat stubble field is best; avoid continuous cropping. Deeply plow and turn the previous crop stubble, and before sowing, combine with plowing, apply fertilizer and form ridges.

2. Apply sufficient base fertilizer. Apply 5000 kg of farmyard manure per mu and 10-100 kg of oil residue, concentrated and deeply applied before sowing in combination with plowing. Apply 20-50 kg of diammonium phosphate and 10-15 kg of ammonium nitrate per mu, concentrated and applied into the ridges in combination with ridge formation.

3. Form ridges and cover with film. Choose ultra-thin film or strong micro-film 70-80 cm wide and 0.008 cm or 0.005 cm thick, using 3-5 kg per mu. The ridge surface should be 60 cm wide, the ridge spacing 40 cm, and the ridge height 10 cm, and the ridges should be straight, level and smooth. Cover with film immediately after forming the ridges, and the film covering should be stretched, firm and tight.

4. Plant in a timely manner. One day before planting, shake the soil off the selected superior seedlings, then dip the roots with 1.5 kg of Angelica root protectant per mu so that the medicinal solution coats the seedlings; plant after drying, or use 5 kg of ethoprophos granules per mu mixed with 50-60 kg of fine sand and sprinkle it over the tops of the seedlings at transplanting. Plant 2 rows per ridge, with a row spacing of 40 cm and a plant spacing of about 25 cm, keeping about 5000 seedlings per mu. When planting, use a hole punch to make holes on the ridge, with the holes staggered in a triangular pattern, then transplant the Angelica seedlings into the holes, planting two seedlings per hole, with the top bud of the Angelica seedling 2-3 cm from the plastic film, firm the soil and seal the openings tightly.

5. Release the seedlings in a timely manner. About 10 days after transplanting, use an iron nail in the early morning to break through the hard soil layer on top of the seedlings, then sprinkle a little fine soil on top of the seedlings to prevent the young buds from being scorched by sunlight.
