        Symptoms of broccoli damping-off disease: after the seeds germinate but before the seedlings emerge, infection mostly causes seed rot; after emergence, infection causes water-soaked spots near the soil surface, which become soft, with the epidermis easily peeling off, and the diseased part becomes constricted, rapidly spreading around the stem, causing the seedlings to topple over and resulting in patches of dead seedlings - this is damping-off disease.

         For the control of broccoli damping-off disease, you can refer to the following 2 methods:

          1. In areas where damping-off is mainly caused by thermophilic bacteria, you can use 0.2% of 40% seed-dressing bis powder for seed dressing or soil treatment. The chemical soil treatment method is to cultivate strong seedlings to prevent damping-off disease; after sowing, cover with a layer of nutrient soil, water thoroughly, then cover with film to keep warm and retain moisture; after emergence, spray 0.2%-0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate 2-3 times to enhance disease resistance; if necessary, spray 25% Ridomil wettable powder at 800 times dilution;

         2. If necessary, irrigate with 69% Anchor mancozeb wettable powder at 900 times dilution.
