How do you fertilize mung bean during cultivation? Please give guidance
For growing mung bean, you can refer to the following fertilization methods:
1. Fertilization principles:
Mainly farmyard manure, with inorganic fertilizer as a supplement; apply farmyard manure and inorganic fertilizer together; apply sufficient base fertilizer and appropriate topdressing.
2. Fertilization rate:
For every 100 kg of mung bean grain produced, it is necessary to absorb 9.68 kg of nitrogen, 2.93 kg of phosphorus (P2O5), and 3.51 kg of potassium (K2O). Apart from one third of the nitrogen coming from the atmosphere, all the remaining nutrients must be absorbed from the soil. For mung bean, the period from emergence to flowering is its vegetative growth stage, and from flowering to pod filling is the stage when vegetative growth and reproductive growth proceed together; this is the period of vigorous plant growth and also the key period determining grain yield and quality.
3. Fertilization methods:
1. For base fertilizer, human excrement and urine, plant ash, kang soil, and pig, chicken, and sheep manure are best, applied at 1000-3000 kg per mu.
2. Topdressing should be timely and appropriate, and it is best applied in furrows between rows at the seedling stage and flowering stage, with 5-10 kg or 8-15 kg per mu of urea or compound fertilizer respectively. From branching to harvest, 1.0% urea and 0.5% potassium dihydrogen phosphate can be sprayed over the whole period, generally once every 10-15 days. Spraying trace element fertilizer on the leaves during flowering and pod setting has an obvious effect, mainly B, Mo, and Zn. Generally, soil content should be tested first to decide whether to apply and how much to apply; usually ammonium molybdate or zinc sulfate 0.1%-0.3% solution can be sprayed.
