Micronutrient fertilizers play an extremely important role in the growth and development of peanuts, and rational application delivers high output for low input. Although farmers have some understanding of this, they apply them blindly, often failing to achieve the goal of increasing yield. Therefore, in production practice, scientific application should be based on the peanut's requirement for micronutrient fertilizers. Boron fertilizer: commercial boron fertilizers are mainly boric acid and borax, which can be applied as a base fertilizer or sprayed on the leaves. When the critical value of soil boron deficiency is 0.5%, apply 500 grams of boron fertilizer per mu as a base fertilizer, mixing it with macro- and secondary elements or high-quality farmyard manure when applying the base fertilizer before peanut sowing. Spray boron fertilizer on the leaves once each at the early flowering stage and the full flowering stage, which can increase yield by more than 16.8% per mu. Molybdenum fertilizer: the commercial molybdenum fertilizer is mainly ammonium molybdate, which can be used for seed dressing and foliar spraying. The seed dressing concentration is 0.2%. Spraying a 0.3% ammonium molybdate solution on the leaves once each at the early flowering stage and the full flowering stage has a particularly obvious yield-increasing effect, increasing yield by about 20% per mu.
Although boron fertilizer and molybdenum fertilizer are applied in very small amounts, their physiological role and yield-increasing effect should not be underestimated. In high-yield peanut areas, there are varying degrees of micronutrient deficiency problems, which have become a factor limiting peanut yield that cannot be ignored. Therefore, when fertilizing peanuts, macro- and secondary elements should be applied in combination with micronutrients to achieve the goal of increasing peanut yield.
