Rehmannia pests and diseases include soybean cyst nematode, red spider mite, Melitaea butterflies, aphids, cutworms, mole crickets and wireworms. For detailed control methods, refer to the following list:

        1. Control of soybean cyst nematode:1. Agricultural measures: crop rotation, rotating with cereal crops for 1-2 years; increase phosphate fertilizer application and irrigate at the right time. 2. Chemical control: use 3% carbofuran granules, 2-4 kg per mu, applied in the sowing furrow, then cover with soil; or use 3% isofenphos-methyl granules, 5-6 kg per mu, applied in the furrow, then cover with soil.

        2. Control methods for red spider mite:Occurs from June to July. Use 8% chlorpyrifos 1000-2000 times dilution, or 20% pyridaben and other highly effective, low-toxicity insecticides and acaricides, spraying twice in succession.
        3. Control of Melitaea butterflies:1. Clean the field; 2. During the young larval stage, spray with 90% trichlorfon 800 times dilution.

        4. Control of aphids:Use 80% dichlorvos 1500-2000 times dilution to spray and kill aphids and the like.

        5. Control of underground pests: cutworms, mole crickets and wireworms:Use 80% trichlorfon wettable powder 100 g plus a small amount of water, mix with 5 kg of roasted wheat bran or soybean cake, and scatter it in the evening as a poison bait.
