What are the precautions for growing white fungus? Keep these key points in mind
White fungus is called "white wood ear" because it looks quite similar to black wood ear to a certain extent, the growing methods are basically similar, and the effects and other aspects also have a certain degree of similarity, so it is called white wood ear. In recent years, the market demand for white fungus has greatly increased, and all kinds of dishes made with white fungus have appeared in people's lives, so more white fungus output is needed to meet market demand. Today, Qinnong.com will tell you what to pay attention to when growing white fungus.

1. Temperature
During the growth of white fungus, temperature control must be up to standard. If the temperature is not controlled well, you will find that some white fungus dies, while some becomes deformed, and so on. Therefore, the temperature suitable for white fungus survival generally needs to be controlled at around 20 to 25 degrees. The lowest temperature cannot be lower than 6 degrees, and the highest cannot exceed 30 degrees. Of course, in a special case, white fungus can still grow at zero degrees, only the growth rate is very slow. During the entire growth process of white fungus, heat preservation work must be carried out at least three times, each time regulating the temperature to around 22 to 25 degrees.
2. Moisture
Water is a necessary condition for the growth of all things, so it is the same for white fungus. White fungus has a somewhat large demand for moisture. The moisture in the field must be maintained at at least around 70 to 80 percent, but it absolutely must not be higher than 90 percent. Above 90 percent, white fungus is not easy to germinate, and its growth is very weak. During the entire growth period, watering must be carried out at least three times. The first time is when planting, the second time is around 20 to 25 days after planting, and the third time is generally after one month. But if it is summer, watering must be done frequently, generally once every three days, which is very troublesome, so it is generally not recommended to plant in summer.
3. Light
White fungus cannot be exposed to excessive direct sunlight, but without light it also cannot grow. So when planting, we must choose the planting site well, preferably a place with tree shade, so that the sunlight shining down is more scattered and the light is not too strong. But if there really is no such place, then artificial means must be used to create an environment suitable for white fungus growth. Try to use light-transmitting materials to build shade structures, so that white fungus can grow quickly and with good quality.
4. Nutrients
Before planting white fungus, we prepare the nutrient medium for white fungus, so we must pay attention to the growth habits of white fungus and what kind of nutrients white fungus absorbs and utilizes more easily, and then prepare it accordingly. Therefore, in order to promote the growth of white fungus, we generally add nitrogen fertilizer, phosphorus fertilizer, and calcium fertilizer to the nutrient medium, which can promote white fungus's absorption of external nutrients and healthy growth.
5. Sterilization
During the growth process of white fungus, there are actually no major diseases. The main threat comes from bacteria. Although some fungi can promote white fungus's absorption of nutrients, there are still very many fungi that seriously affect the normal growth of white fungus. Therefore, after preparing the nutrient medium, we need to sterilize the nutrient medium under high pressure, and then carry out inoculation. During inoculation, disinfection and sterilization treatment must also be done well. Only in this way can we ensure that white fungus grows in a healthy environment.
