How do you manage wrapped-heart mustard well during cultivation? Please introduce the methods
Wrapped-heart mustard can be managed as follows:
1. Crop rotation arrangement: Previous crops of spring edamame, spring corn, watermelon, or chili pepper fields are all ideal plots for planting wrapped-heart mustard.
2. Variety selection: Dapingpu large-fleshed wrapped-heart mustard (flat-head type) has a growth period of 70-80 days.
3. Timely sowing: Cultivate strong seedlings: ① Sowing period: early June. ② Seedling bed selection: well-drained, fertile soil, and a vegetable plot whose previous crop was not a cruciferous plant can all serve as seedling beds for wrapped-heart mustard; ③ Sterilize the soil and apply sufficient base fertilizer, clear away residual plants and fallen leaves, spray 600 times dexon for disinfection, then apply 3-4 kg of fine phosphate fertilizer per fen of seedling bed as base fertilizer; ④ Seed rate: use half the amount of seed per mu of field (25 grams), sow 40-50 grams per fen of seedling bed, and sow evenly; ⑤ Pest and disease control: after sowing, mix 250 grams of Zidan or Dichongshaxing with fine soil per fen of seedling bed and broadcast it on the seedbed, then cover with a shade net for 2-3 days. After emergence, use Yibianjing plus Chujin to control pests; ⑥ After thinning, apply a light fertilizer.
4. Field transplanting, apply sufficient base fertilizer: ① Base fertilizer must be applied 10 days before transplanting, using 40-50 kg of ternary compound fertilizer per mu, applied deeply in the middle of the rows for wrapped-heart mustard, and covered with soil after application. The field should also be sterilized with 600-800 times dexon soil disinfectant; ② Transplant when the seedlings are about 25 days old and at the 5-6 leaf stage. Transplanted seedlings should be taken to the field with three things: fertilizer (applied 2-3 days before pulling seedlings), pesticide, and soil. Spacing should be 40-45 cm, generally 3000-3500 plants per mu. After planting, immediately water to settle the roots, and apply a seedling-promoting fertilizer once after the plants are established.
5. Apply heavy fertilizer for heart formation, and prevent pests and diseases well: ① Apply heavy fertilizer once each at the rosette stage and heart-forming stage of wrapped-heart mustard, using 18-20 kg of urea plus 10 kg of potassium chloride per mu (apply less or no potassium fertilizer on coastal saline land); ② August and September are peak seasons for various pests and diseases, mainly viral disease, soft rot, cotton bollworm, and noctuid pests. Focus on control at the rosette stage and heart-forming stage. Pesticides used: virus A and virus K at 600 times, agricultural streptomycin or anti-rot heart-forming agent at 3000-4000 times solution for spraying. For insect control, use 10% Chujin at 1500 times or other low-toxicity, high-efficiency pesticides, and observe the safe interval. It can be harvested 45 days after planting.
